‘half full or half empty’- Original

PLEASE READ!!!- Due to the oil paint used, this painting will take a minimum of 2 months from 27th October to be dry enough for delivery. I hope you understand and sorry for the inconvenience. ( this choice is to protect the final outcome so that your painting is not destroyed or damaged.)

This painting will be signed with “COATSWORTH” ,on the bottom right corner, before delivery.

ALSO I WILL be creating prints of this in A4 and possibly A3 so don’t be surprised if you see prints being made after purchase:)

The second painting in the glass series, and is showing a ‘glass half full’ and a ‘glass half empty’ to demonstrate the two different perspectives and attitudes towards life. One glass holds a poisonous solution (wine), while the other holds water.

I wanted to capture the light being refracted as it hit the curved glass. The shadows are subtle but juxtapose the titanium white reflections.

I have left this painting looking unfinished to add a touch of my usual style and left it fairly expressive with the brush marks being visible still. This was intentional as i wanted the focus to be on the liquid and the light rather than the table or the background.
